I have acid reflux and bad breath for about 10 years. My doctor have proscribe and I have taken all types of acid reflux medications and nothing seem to help my very bad breath. what can I take or do to get rid of my bad breath. My breath smell like something rotten. please help!
Effective management of GERD will help eliminate the bad odor. Management of GERD is detailed below -Avoid fatty, fried, spicy food -Avoid caffeine, carbonated drinks, smoking and alcohol -Give atleast 2 hours between last meal and bed time -Raise the head end of bed by using wooden blocks under bed post -Eat small frequent meals -You can also take Nexium 20 mg once daily -Chewing gum can also help with bad breath
