How Can Acid Reflux And Hiccups Be Treated?
Hello, Like the symptoms, you have given it is clear that you are suffering from severe acid reflux. You can use sucralfate for symptomatic relief. It will form a sheath over the acid and provide symptomatic relief. Pepto-Bismol is a good choice and you can safely continue the drug. You have to consult a gastroenterologist and get an endoscopy to rule out possible causes like a hiatus hernia. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
