How Can Acidity And Inflammation In The Right Lung Be Cured?
I had a burp which brought burning acid into my throat. It surprised me and I gulped and felt immediate severe burning in my right lung. I must have aspirated stomach acid. Do I need to do anything? It really burned for several minutes, now not burning. I am concerned about having this acid in my lung. Please advise. Thank you. Jane

mild regurge and aspiration does occur in certain conditions for example with aging, obesity or certain medications. you don't need to worry for now. watch out for symptoms of respiratory distress, but most likely nothing will happen. keep your position propped up to avoid such incidents in future and sleep on two pillows to avoid it at night. if it keeps happening you might need to book a visit to find the cause and start ppi
