How Can Acne And Dark Spots On The Skin Be Treated?

Hello Doc! From last 9 mnths I have been facing problem of acne cyst breakout and they are leaving dark spots. I am 39 and have PCOD. Recently Dr has advised me to take Capsule Doxy twice a day. Clindac AC gel to be applied in the morning and Blumac cream in the evening. My query is Blumac Aqua based ? I used it last night for first time and I saw my acne had increased. Is Clindac AC gel effective on Cystic acne? Please advise. Thanks

Clindac A gel is effective in cystic acne. You can also add benzyl peroxide.
1.     Apply locally Clindoxyl gel (clindamycin + benzyl peroxide) at bed time for a month
2.     Continue Doxy capsule as suggested
3.     Use Acne aid soap three time daily for cleaning your face
4.     Do not squeeze pimples as it will cause scarring
5.     Keep pimples untouched
6.     Try to avoid use of unbranded cosmetics unnecessarily
7.     Avoid mental stress as it aggravates acne
Try with above treatment for 1 month. If you respond then it is good. If you do not respond to above treatments then you can stop Doxy capsule and start capsule Isotroin 10 mg (isotretinoin 10 mg) every 12 hours for 2 months along with Clindoxyl gel. If you are pregnant or planning pregnancy then do not take isotretinoin.
