I have zits on my back I believe it to be acne possibly caused from my dreadlocks hair style I went to a dermatologist who is suggesting its sebaceous cyst. From my research sebaceous cyst are puffy and pussie my back is not like that its more like heats Can you advise?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What pimple you are complaining of on your back is nothing but a sebaceous cyst. It can have a varied presentation and most of the times it is mistaken to be pimple. In any case, it needs to be excised by undertaking a minor surgical procedure under aseptic conditions performed by giving local anaesthesia.
