How Can Acute Fever With Body Pain Be Treated?
Hello Doctor, my wife is suffering from fever from evening. I have given crocin but fever not went down. Now her fever is 102.1. I it between 101 to 102 fro last 4 hrs. Wt I shld do ? Now it is 3am early morning. Should I go to hospital. She is laos feeling body pain.

hello, thanks for your query, in my opinion, it looks like viral fever, you can give same crocin 500mg 3-4 times for 2 days. in case of persistence , you need to see a physician and to do blood tests to clarify other causes for high fever. hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have viral fever or some other cause like malaria. So right now you can give one more paracetamol. Then consult your doctor and go for complete blood count and peripherals smear for malaria parasites and then take treatment accordingly.
