Hi
Thanks for positng your query on HCM.
I have read and understood your concern.
Acute pyelonephritis is treated with antibiotics. With 10 days course of IV antibiotics, i feel the infection has been taken care of.I wish to know if you still have the symptoms that took you to the hospital. If no, then you will be fine.Your Doctor may decide to prescribe you an oral relay treatment(antibiotics) but it is optional and depends on the germ that was identify on urine culture.
I will suggest you stay calm and take enough water.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Wish you good health
