my wifes whole abdomen scan report shows she is uterus bulky measured 14.9x11.7 cm.multible myomas noted. biggest myomas with calcification is noted,in th anteriorwall,measuring about 11.7x11.1cm. but she dont have any symptoms or complications.except weakness. she is aged 45 years i need experts sugetion.pl help what is the next course of action i have to take. my gynacology doctor told wait for 1 or 2 cycles and then we will decide. i need your openion.
Hi, I think the size of uterus is quite big. But the age of your wife is perimenopausal. If there was fibroid only, it would have resolved with menopause. Adenomyosis can cause problems even after menopause. You can try Mirena intrauterine devices once. If is useful in both fibroid and Adenomyosis. But if it doesn't work, then you can go for a hysterectomy.
