How Can Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms Be Managed After Discontinuing

HI, HOW ARE YOU? I was recently in the hospital for alcohol withdrawal, the doctor prescribe me some like 12 pills of Librium but I don t have any more, I ran out of medication, how can I find more medication with no prescription written, I can fax you my medication papers or send you a picture of the paper work or the empty bottle to see if they can prescribe some more, I still have the effects of the alcohol on me, I still have the tremors and the shakes and insomnia , I can t still sleep well at nights, still don t feel well, would like to know if you can help me with the medication, I m a 51 years old guy and do have responsabilities to take care of , see if you can help me please, I appreciate you reading my message, can I have an answer please, Thank you, I really appreciated.

Hi,

Librium help you to control or prevent the withdrawal symptoms of alcohol, so you should continuous with the same drug and anti craving agent like Acamprosate. If the withdrawal symptoms are sever or you can not control your craving then hospitalization is advisable.

Librium or other drug which can prevent such symptoms are not given without consultation and prescription so consult doctor for that.
