First of all is not mine but it is my step father he s like can t control his emotional also he addicted to alcohol he s violence he beaten his small brother so cruel because of small issue his brother ve got scar from his violence on his back not only 1 place and he also destroying things around him every time he got angry so do we have any to cure him or make him better how can I take him to meet doctor
I had seen your complaints and can understand your concerns. It is a sad thing that your step father was creating a lot of disturbance at home.
First of all, alcoholism is having many long term ill effects to the patient but the immediate effects will be face by family members. It makes the patient to loose self-control.
Coming to treatment part: 1. First we have to control the intake levels by family care and support 2. Take to a doctor with telling the actual cause 3. Use the drugs which inactivate Acetaldehyde Dehydrogenase enzyme
No need to worry, but do not try to stop taking alcohol at a time which may lead to some complications (withdrawal syndrome). Try to control the habit of taking alcohol slowly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Vamsi Krishna Chittimoju
