How Can Allergic Insect Bite On The Forearm Be Treated?

I have an insect bite on my right forearm area. I had been pulling dead grass in flower beds. I was wearing gloves. Three days ago my hand, wrist and forearm hurt really bad. Thought it was arthritis. Next day a large egg shape knot appeared. Now my arm is swelling upward and down toward my hand with pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As a physician I would like to tell you that you can take medications like Tab Alerid-D and Tab Zerodol-P and the swelling will subside on it's own. I would also suggest that you should go and see a attending physician if the swelling does not subside within 4 to 5 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhijeet
