How Can Allergic Skin Reaction Around The Lips Be Treated?
Hi doctor, last week i used the wrong hair removal cream on my lip area it burns when i apply it and i quickly wash it off. It left a red mark/spot on the area and dryness. I continued putting on moisturizer and the redness and dryness went away but it turned brown and left a brown spot. I m worried the spot wont go away please help me . Will it last forever?
Hair remover cream has caused an allergic reaction. Brown spot is due to scar of skin lesion. It will take time to completely disappear. Advice a. Apply a cream containing hydroquinone 2%, tretinoin 0.025%, and mometasone furoate 0.1% at bed time locally for two months. Do not rub while applying. Apply gently b. Do not use hair remover cream on face as face is very sensitive to such creams
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thanks
