How Can Amenorrhea Be Treated?

I have been prescribed northisterone as I haven t had a period for over 12 months. I have had scans etc and nothing found. My doctor advised me to take 3 tablets a day for 7 days. This induced a bleed on 1st October. She then said on day 5 of bleed, take same dosage. My question is, did my doctor mean take for 25 days or take to day 25 of my cycle (meaning I would be taking for 20 days) ?
