How Can Amenorrhoea Be Treated?

Hello! I have had secondary amenorrhoea for over 2 years now. Last month I finally ovulated once again after such a long time. (I regained a healthy weight, did sports....) But now it has been 3 months and I still don t have my period. Is this normal? Does my body need more time?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Stress and diet may cause amenorrhoea. However, if you have had it for this long time I would suggest you should seek medical advice and some tests as to rule out other possible cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
