How Can An Ankle Sprain Be Treated?

I rolled my ankle almost 3 weeks ago and it’s a high ankle sprain. Like a grade 1 very close to grade 2 sprain. I was in a boot and iced, ibuprofen, rehab, all that good stuff to bring the swelling down. Now looking at it, it looks swollen still but there’s no fluid. It’s like there’s a build up of cartilage on the front of my ankle and some on the outside on top of my ankle. Is there anyway to break this stuff up so I can have a more full range of motion?

hi have you taken x Ray?if it's normal then swelling is not due to fracture.there is no such thing as cartilage building..may be u have mistaken with candition called ankle spru,in which extra bony growth causes severe pain around ankle..so all this will resolve once u take x Ray n consult orthopedic.hope this answer helped you.
