How Can An Arachnoid Cyst Be Treated?

My son was diagnosed with an arachnoid cyst where his right frontal lobe would have been 10 years ago. This cyst was removed. He has two smaller cysts on the back of his brain. I think either one or both of these cysts could be growing. He has been going through some serious mental things and I am wondering if the pressure from these cysts could be causing paranoia and other such symptoms???

Hi,

Small arachnoid cysts may won't need treatment unless they causing compression or raised intracranial pressure or CSF block, etc. So please consult your neurophysician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
