How Can An Ear Infection And Pain In The Jaw Be Treated?

Hi, I started taking a Anti-Biotic Yesterday. It is called Apo-Amoxi Clav/Amoxicillin/Postassium Clav. It is for my (Right) Ear Infection that I have, I am wondering if this Anti-Biotic is working well, because I still have some Pus coming out of my ear, and I am still have pain in the back of my jaw, on the Right side when I chew. It almost feels like my Ear is getting worse instead of better.

Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I understand your concern.
I think that the antibiotic is the right one.
You can also use:

1) Local antibiotics such as Paroticine Flacon.
2) Boric alcohol as a disinfectant.
3) Warm compresses.

Hope that clarifies your concerns. Thank you for the question.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
