How Can An Enlarged Thyroid Gland Be Treated?
My has has a thyroid an enlarged thyroid gland would that have anything to do with oversized tonsils since she was a child her tonsils almost touched each other when you would try to look down her throat when she was little the pediatricians asked if she had problems sore throat strep excetera I said no she had no problems very very few sick days at all but now she is sick all the time any c h i p m a r t a at

enlarged thyroid gland is not related with enlarged tonsils.
If Enlarged Tonsils are not causing any symptoms such as recurrent sore throats,difficulty in eating , snoring etc then you don't need to worry
as for as Enlarged thyroid gland is concerned it may be due to overactivity (hyperthyroidism) or underactivity(hypothyroidism).
recommendation is to get her chekced to know it really a thyroid that us enlarged
and hen go for Thyroid function test to know its cause.
after evaluating the cause only then we can go for a treatment
