I was told by my doctor that I have an infection in my scar from my surgery 30yrs ago, I was put on keeflex 4 times a day for 10 days. Well my last pill was on Saturday, but I still have the infection or what ever this is and it hurts pretty bad. Please help

Meanwhile preliminary antibiotics coverage like augmentin or cephradine can be initiated alongwith atypical coverage with metronidazole after discussing with your primary doctor. For pains OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can be used.
