How Can An Infected Toenail Be Removed?
I hurt my big toe over a week ago and I went to the doctor and he said it was bruised under the toenail, he then said that the toenail will probably fall off at some stage and I was just wondering how long would it take to recover and can I do excercise on it immediately or would I have to wait a while

As a first line management, you can apply topical antibiotics like Mupirocin for faster recovery.
If the infection persists, better to remove the nail manually. Nothing much to worry as it can be done under local anesthesia and it will not cause much pain.
