Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have a scabbed wound on my leg that was a very bad bacteria infection. dual antibiotics had stopped the infection but now i am getting the same little welts on my leg near the wound site. they are the same things that appeared on my leg before ,when I squeezed one of them it got very bad very fast.
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that it seems your infection didn't subside with the initial antibiotic course. I would advise you to get yourself assessed as you may be in need of another antibiotic course and also wound debridement. I would also advise you to get your blood sugar levels tested as high blood sugar levels also delay wound healing. Don't try to press or squeeze the wound as it may lead to septicemia. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
