How Can An Infection In The Chest And Behind The Ear Be Treated?
hi , I have an infection on my chest ,behind my ear, and under my tongue . what can I take ?also I have an open sore on the back of my neck rite on my spinal cord about third vertebrae .open sore over 2 yrs. Where some kind of thing has a nest on my spinal cord. I need someone to check it out soon . It s giving me numbness and headaches. this is no joke please help. what and where kind of doctor?
It would be best to see your GP first, if there is no improvement then he or she can refer to an infection control specialist that may be able to help, if needed.
Your GP may want to consider doing a swab especially of the area that was present for 2 years. A swab to the lab would determine the exact bacteria that is causing the infection and the best antibiotics to use. It would also indicate with antibiotics would not work.
It would be best to be seen as soon as possible in light of the headaches and dizziness that you are experiencing. Blood tests and imaging of the spine may be needed.
