Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My boyfriend has an inguinal hernia. Tonight he ate and immediately vomited and experienced stabbing pains just above the scar from having his appendix removed. Is it possible that the hernia is strangulated or ruptured? It s an acute onset for this episode though he has had pain recently in his abdomen and testicles. The severe pain has subsided for now.
