Hi Doctor, last night my frenula got ripped during intercourse. It bleeded a lot. But then I applied antiseptic cream over it and pulled my skin up and the bleeding stopped. I am not in pain but whenever I pull my skin down I feel that it somehow starts to bleed. What should I do? I am scared of stitches and embarrassment from my parents too..
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
In most cases it heals on its own and there is no need for stiches, however if there is unstoppalble bleeding, you should see urologist to have look at it.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
