How Can An Open Wound On The Hand Be Treated?

I had stitches put in my arm last Monday this past Monday I ripped two of the five stitches. I want to the ER they said they could not reach touch the area so now I have a open wound. I can t see my doctor to remove the other three stitches until Friday. My question is how do I clean the open wound and how do I redress it ?

As I read your query it seems to me you have a non bleeding surgical open wound.
You need to use antiseptic agent like Pivodene or hydrogen peroxide at least twice daily.
Also keep your wound wrapped by dressing.
Second thing is that you must consult your doc as soon as possible because open wound may cost you the bigger scar then closed one.
