How Can An Ovarian Cyst Be Removed?

My sister s diagnosed with ovarian cyst. In her recent ultrasound it s size is 12 *8 cm. Which was 6.2 * 3.6 according to ultrasound dated 27th may.. Doctor suggested the operation. Is it really necessary? Or some other treatment can be used? Ultrasound also says that it is dermoid.

Dermoid cyst are benign tumors which may increase in size over a period of time. If doctor has suggested surgery than better to get operated and remove it surgically.
