How Can An Ovarian Cyst Be Treated?

Hello and good day. My name is Sheila and im from Philippines but working abroad. About a year ago i found out that i have an ovarian cyst that is 10cm in size. i undergone lots of tests and im waiting for my schedule for operation as i want it to be removed. My Ob-Gyn adviced me to take contraceptive pills because im having a hard time during my period. She gave me SEASONIQUE TABLETS which i started taking it last week. My mother sent me an herbal dietary supplement which suppposedly can shrink the cyst. My question is, can i take the dietary supplement while im taking my pills from my Ob-Gyn? Does it had got any interaction with these medicines? as you didn't mention what exactly is that dietary supplement, so I can't exactly what to do.
