How Can An Ovarian Cyst Be Treated?

I had been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and never had a follow up a few days ago I felt like a ripping or tearing feeling in the same region thinking it could be a rupturing ovary cyst of course and wondering what should I do and or if mandatory I need go back to doctors or is drainage go away on own along with pain
