Right Ankle Injury Time 4 years RIGHT ANKLE MR findings are suggestive of subtle tenosynovites of the peroneus longus and brevis and tibialis posterior and trace synovial joint effusion. General Treatment for healing, pain relief Injection(1- time), Physiotherapy (8 months) Homeopathy(2 months). Aurveda (current) .. Can you please tell me the best treatment for this
I have studied your case and I think that you have tried all non operative methods and nothing has given you any good benefit so I would recommend you to plan for surgical option . It is called tenosynovectomy. In this we remove tendon sheath and all inflammed tissue which is source of pain and inflamamtion. This procedure can be completed in half an hour and after that you can start walking form third to fourth day. You will be completely pain free after this and so there will not be any need to any pain killer and this is very helpful. As all these medicines have their own side effects as well.
