How Can Appetite Loss And Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

Last week I had really bad heartburn combined with bloating and nausea. Got put on Levsin and generic heart burn meds. Next day I felt much better and only took the Levsin for a couple of days cause my nausea and stomach pain went away. 4 days later after taking no meds my nausea and stomach bloating is back. Started the Levsin again last night but still have zero appetite and stomach still hurts.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You should take tablet Pantoprazole two times with tablet Domperidone two times a day. As these are prescription drugs, please contact your local doctor so that he will prescribe these medicines. Both drugs can be taken for one month.

Avoid fatty fried fast foods. I will suggest an ultrasound abdomen to rule out gallbladder or liver disease. Also, stop alcohol or smoking if you are smoker or alcoholic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
