Hello Breast milk is the best for baby as it will provide complete nutrition for development. World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding for up to two years and beyond. The longer you breastfeed, the longer the good health effects will be for both you and your child. Don't be worried much about weight gain as there are some months which would have plateau phase, during which weight gain is not appreciable. That doesn't mean there is appetite loss. You can give nutritious diet for your child in small proportions and gradually increase quantity and also introduce regular diet. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
