How Can Athlete S Foot Be Treated?

I think I may have athletes foot on my legs.. I ve taken oral steroids and corticosteroid creams... Nothing works they just get worse! So after a few months it went away but left some crazy scars and still comes back time to time. Is there any way to get rid if this... And possibly fade the scars?

Hi there,
thank you for the question.
If you have a diagnosed case of Athlete's foot, you need to use a topical antifungal cream like Clotrimazole. Topical steroids help stop the inflammatory process but you need to take an antifungal cream to grt rid of the fungus.
Also, you need to keep the area clean and dry. Make sure your feet get enough air and sunlight.Change socks regularly, if you wear any.If you can, avoid socks and closed shoes during the period of infection.
Hope this helps.
