Her breath smells horrible from pus pockets. Is there anything I can give her to help her. Is soacking her pacifier in part water part peroxide ok?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have bad breath which is known as halitosis. It occurs due to two main reasons . First of all due to dry mouth which leads to dehydration and cavities in mouth and secondly it is due to bacterial infection of oral cavity and debris accumulation. Visit periodontist once and get scaling and cleaning of teeth done to prevent any microbial accumulation. Maintain oral hygiene. Do brushing and flossing two times a day. Rinse mouth with antimicrobial mouthwash such as Listerine. Avoid tobacco, alcohol consumption. Drink plenty of water. Stop taking spicy and sharp food substances.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Take a good care of your health. Get Well soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
