How Can Basal Cell Carcinoma Be Treated?

Hi there. My mother has recently been told that she has a basal cell carcinoma on her nose that she will need to be reffered to a plastic surgeon to be removed. She also has the another smaller and more recently present basal cell carcinoma on her chest. What does the procedure entail as she is rather concerned

Hi, welcome,
As I read your statement about your mother, she is suffering from a type of tumor, basal cell carcinoma or rodents ulcer.
Thankfully this type of cancer do not spread from one organ to another (metastasis).
You need to go for surgical treatment because it is on face so plastic surgeon, keeping the facial deformity to least.
You must go for surgical procedures as soon as possible. It may be little costly then oncosurgeon but it will help in long run.
