How Can Bed Sores On The Back Be Treated?
My husband is has been in the hospital for a week with pneumonia/emphazema, & thought he had developed bedsores as he hasn t been able to get out of bed. Does not look like bedsores to me, looks like measles or chicken pox but only on his back. Slow typer here...

The most important factor to reduce risk of bed sores is to prevent long laying or sitting and move patient frequently. When bed sores already occur then it should be managed with Granuflex ointment or bed sore dressings and coverings based on silicone and Comfeel paste.
It should improve healing and reduce pan. If there is necrosis or inflammation then surgical consulation is required since infection may spread and cause serious consequances. ALso, you should put always something soft like pillow under the bed sores and avoid laying on hard surface.
