How Can Benign Hypermobility Syndrome Causing Pain And Sleeplessness Be Treated?
I have recently been diagnosed with benign hyper mobilit syndrome. I m 39 years old and I haven t had a decent nights rest since I was 5. I ve been on various meds for the pain, but I refuse to take narcotics. I was on 10 mg for about 2 years and my dr put me on restoril 30mg. yesterday an after lying in bed for 4 hours I finally took 5 mg. of ambien an 1 mg. of ativan. I constantly have problem turning off the adreniline at night even though I m exhausted. Do u have any recommendations?
sometimes benign hypermobility may be associated with fibromyalgia which is commonly associated with sleep disturbances, medication like duloxetine, amitryptiline, pregabalin may help. you need to see a rheumatologist for the same.
