My 10 yr old daughter just lost a baby molar on the bus. She said she was eating a gummy bear and it broke loose. This tooth was already loose. There s more blood than normal when losing teeth and it hasn t stopped. I see where it looks like some of her gum may have ripped and there s still white. So I m not sure if that s a new tooth growing in or if some of her tooth broke off
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Local examination of the area plus oral cavity is required. In case of excessive bleeding with no local cause, bleeding disorders should be looked for.
