Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
April 12th of this year my son had tubes put in for the second time. He is 6 yrs old. I just brought him to see his dr at the ENT because he was having some ear pain. The dr told us that he had an ear infection and prescribed him ear drops to place in his ears 2 times a day. Yesterday I noticed that he is forming blisters on the inside and outside of his ear? His ear is also very swollen and tender to the touch... What should I do?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, in such ear condition with history of ear infection it is better to see the ENT surgeon till then Ibuprofen can be tried for swelling but better to see the ENT surgeon as early as possible no need to take any risk hope this information helps.
