How Can Blisters On The Penis Be Treated?

ElHave an ongoing issue w/a blistering raw skin condition under the foreskin and head of penis! Have tried creams and shaves on it, such as Clortrimazole/Betamethasone and it clears up for a few days, then back to the same ugly condition. I have been checked for STD s and there no problem there. HELP!!!!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you have genital blisters it is important to consider herpes genitalis as the cause of it. Sometimes the diagnosis of herpes genitalis is not that easy and routine tests for STD do not identify it.
I would recommend you to talk with your doctor when these blisters come out as the way they look and your symptoms at the time of the blisters will tell a lot if it is herpes or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
