How Can Blood Clotting During A Surgery Be Controlled?
I had double knee replacement 1 year ago & doing great. I know I got exparel during my knee surgery and also an injection of something to control blood clotting during the surgery - but cannot remember the name of this. Do you know what the name of this could be?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You had undergone total knee replacement on both knee. So you might have risk for thrombosis. For that doctor given you some clot preventing injections. It could be low molecular weight heparin injection that act as anti-thrombotic agent.
Hope I have answered your question.
