How Can Blood Pressure Levels Be Kept Under Control?
I m Jesus Gallego of 1477 Baroque Ave., Volo IL. U.S.A., 70 years old with BP of 150/90 and I m having a maintenance medication as per Doctor s prescription. Is possible to control my BP herbal or whatever instead of the medical treatment taking medicines through my life which there is harmful side effects. I need your advice.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Controlling BP with herbal medicines is not an authentic and scientific way. Antihypertensive Medicines as prescribed by your physician along with life style management like regular physical exercise, yoga and meditation, low salt intake and a balanced diet prescribed by a dietitian is the best known way for controlling high BP. You should not worry about the side effects of the medicines, your physician will prescribe the best considering your case.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
