How Can Body Ache Along With Fever And Chills Be Treated?

I am taking Bactrim DS. Actually I have the generic. To treat a uti. I have taken 4 pills so far and still have body aches low grade fever and had bad chills last night. Now my stomach is bothering me and I just had diarrhea. Should I go to another antibiotic? I’m not sure if these other symptoms are from the uti or if I have a viral infection as well. Please help

Hello,

Make sure that you are suffering from urinary tract infections (UTI) before taking Bactrim DS tablet. Probably your suffering from viral fever with antibiotics induced diarrhea. Use tablet Paracetamol thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician he will investigate and treat you accordingly.
