How Can Bone Chips In The Elbows Be Treated?

I have been a baseball player all of my life. Currently, I am playing on a 55 and over team. Seven years ago, I had bone chips (i.e. Loose bodies) removed from my elbow. Do they reoccur? If so, is the procedure more difficult and complicated the second time around. Thank you very much, Corbs

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I would explain that bone chips may reoccur in case of repeated trauma.

In such case the procedure is quite the same as the first time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
