How Can Breathing Difficulty Be Treated?

I am 48 female was diagnosed in 2015 .... It took till I had to be intubated and almost die to get a diagnosis.. Even after I had been admitted in the hospital literally everyother month with extreme scares of what I call not being able to find my breath so 911... Er..ICU..for a week then a step down room for another at least week.. 3 different hospitals and finally the right hospital and the right doc who did a bronchoscope and his exact words were man there was a lot of junk in there I had to change/clean my instruments 3times I forget the exact way he described the instruments cleaning .. Well after doing that procedure in around June 2016 its kept me out of my frequent long stays I ve only been in 2x since then with no ambulance and no ICU ...sorry so long wanted to give some history my questions are 1 when I m not feeling and need to do treatments and use my oxygen at home should I give into it and stay in bed/could for the few days till I feel better or should I push myself and get outside and go for a little walk here and there?? 2. Most days ..day and night my chest feels like it ways 50 pounds ? Is that a symptom of the disease ?..thx in advance. Oh also I had to leave my 20 year career and I m on disability... So I know I should be moving more I just don t know if its safe when I m having to do treatments ( the medicine u breath in mixed with the oxygen machine sorry drawing a blank on its name
