Hello doctor, I have a friend who is asthmatic but not on a severe level, she is experiencing difficulty in breathing and is currently not in possession of an inhaler, are there any quick remedies to make her feel better as it is midnight and no doctor is available for consultation.

Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

You have mentioned that patient having asthma. For symtomatic relief levosalbutamol inhaler can be taken twice. If no improvement than levosalbutamol and budesonide nebulization can be given. Before that asthma should be confirmed by pulmonologist. Than maintainance inhaler of formeterol and budesonide can be started and advise him to take treatment regularly as advised by pulmonologist.

Hope I have solved your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
