I am on 40mg of Simvastatin tablets daily. I’ve been on them for over 2 years. In the last 2 years I’ve had a fungal infection in my right big toe which has been troublesome to clear up. My fingernails have constantly been splitting and brittle. I’ve also had facial hair loss ( had a beard for years) on my top lip shaved of beard. Now have severe hair loss on my head several big bald spots. Hair is coming out in handfuls

Biotin

Biotin is an essential B vitamin that is believed to be the best vitamin for hair, skin, and nails. This vitamin plays key roles in many biological activities of the human body

Zinc

Zinc is one of the most important elements, that can be found in many plants or animals. Zinc deficiency is a rare case, occurring often in vegans and vegetarians, as the best source of zinc is meat, seafood and poultry
Niacin

Topical application of niacin has been shown to somewhat increase hair fullness, but these results were achievable with long-term treatment for women that experience hair shedding
Selenium

Selenium is an essential micro-nutrient and plays significant roles in many processes and also stimulates hair follicle cell growth
Iron

Iron is the most abundant element by mass on our planet. Although Iron deficiency was not determined as a critical factor in male pattern hair loss, some studies concluded that screening for lack in male patients experiencing hair thinning may be beneficial in clinical practice.
