How Can Broken Forearm Be Fixed?

I have a broken forearm from an accident on Oct 09, it has been 6 weeks and the bone has not healed at all as of yet (had x-rays today). I forgot to ask the doctor, and I am wondering if that is normal, or what would be the normal length of time. I have a plate and pins in place, and everything looks good other then the fact that the bone still hasn t healed together at all.

Hello,

Not normal. cannot say in your particular case without an examination and
making sure the bones are in the right orientation. Making sure the calcium, vitamin d and magnesium levels are fine is necessary to see that healing can occur.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
