How Can Burn Injuries On The Hand And Chest Be Treated?
I burnt my hand and chest with hot boiling water ten days back. It caused severe blistering. Im currently using mupirocin. Both my hand and chest are healing well. Hand has started peeling while chest is still pink. What can I do to avoid scarring. My doctor advised contratubex. Can I apply vitamin E and aloe vera juice along with contratubex? When should I start applying them?
dear as rightly said there will be a mild contracture, and it is good to hear that the wound is healing well. For the topical contrabutex and other emolients,it is better to start once we are off those raw areas. More over mere application will not help,as we have to exercise a lot. Do have a regular touch with your treating doctor and also discuss for the need of any kind of physiotherapy. Hope this helps most welcome for further queries
