General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per your clinical history, please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [Ortho] and he will conduct a test known as 'Tinel test' to confirm TTS. To rule out other pathological conditions, do MRI and electromyography.

2) Do 'RICE' at home, which means Resting, Icing, Compression, and Elevation. And discuss with your doctor for Steroid injections.

3) Discuss about surgical treatment for permanent solutions and it is a minor procedure.

Do treatment early to prevent nerve damage and consult with your Doctor now.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
