Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As the problem has occurred with acute symptoms, take an opinion of Gastroenterologist or medicine specialist who might ask for an investigation like endoscopy, gastric analysis, hemoglobin. Any unusual STRESS related to physical and/or mental could be the cause.

. Do not lie down immediately after food.
. Rest your head in high position at night (during sleep).
. Take small nonbulky meals.
. Bland and soft diet, avoid chilies, sour or fatty food.
. Stop irritant drugs (pain killers).
. Take: green gram, bitter gourd, white gourd melon, old brown rice, piper longum, garlic, honey, amla, rice gruel, cucumber, banana, watermelon, pomegranate, tomato, carrot, lukewarm water.
. Avoid newly harvested rice, chickpea flour, black/horse gram, potato, brinjal, butter milk, spices, tea/coffee, junk food, day time sleeping, salt and salt items in excess (chutney, sauce, pickles, chips, namkeen), sesame.
. Suck a piece of clove (for immediate relief).
. Suck 10 gm jaggery everyday (after meals) for constant acidity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood
